In May 2002, MACS joined forces with Petrotech Marine Consultants Pte. Ltd. (Singapore) to launch Ship-to-Ship (STS) transfer operations in Van Phong Bay (Khanh Hoa, Vietnam). This initiative was a strategic move to support imported and transshipped petroleum products, reinforcing Vietnam’s position as a key hub for regional energy logistics.

Building on this success, in December 2003, the Vietnamese Government officially entrusted MACS with organizing and operating STS oil, LPG, and LNG transfer services in collaboration with GAC Transfer Services (UAE). This partnership allowed us to offer seamless, efficient, and highly secure fuel transshipment services to international oil and gas companies.
