Mr. Le Hoai Nam - Director of MACS was elected to the Executive Committee of the Vietnam Logistics Services Association (VLA) at the 9th Term Congress (2024-2027)

On the afternoon of July 19th, at Rex Saigon Hotel, 14 Nguyen Hue, Ben Nghe Ward, District 1, the 9th Term Congress (2024 - 2027) of the Vietnam Logistics Business Association (VLA) was successfully held with the theme "Unifying Strength - Sustainable Development". The Congress was attended by Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade Ms. Phan Thi Thang, Deputy Director of the Import-Export Department Mr. Tran Thanh Hai, Representative of the Department of Non-Governmental Organizations (Ministry of Home Affairs) Ms. Nguyen Thi Tuyet and the presence of more than 180 guests representing member businesses..

 

Speaking at the opening of the Congress, Mr. Le Duy Hiep, Chairman of VLA for the 8th term, said that in the context of many difficulties and challenges in the recent period, especially the Covid-19 pandemic, the VLA Association has made efforts and united to overcome all obstacles. VLA has made important contributions in supporting the domestic logistics service industry to overcome difficulties not only during the Covid-19 pandemic but also in the post-pandemic period.

The Congress focused on electing the VLA Executive Committee for the 9th term (2024-2027) and affirmed the Association's role in providing timely initiatives and support measures to help businesses quickly adapt to economic and political fluctuations, maintain production and business activities to ensure uninterrupted supply chains.
