In December 2024, MACS Shipping was honored to achieve the GFA Label Leaf 1 (Carrier) Certificate for implementing the Sustainable Development Program in Green Freight from Green Freight Asia (GFA). The certification brings great pride to the MACS team.
This is an important certification for MACS' commitments and efforts in implementing its business plan towards sustainable development goals, while also meeting the green freight transport initiative to increase fuel efficiency and reduce CO2 emissions in Vietnam.
The GFA certificate is granted in 2024 based on data on activities collected from 2023 by MACS. This result is within the framework of MACS' green journey project implemented in 2023 with 5 criteria towards sustainable logistics service business through a series of practical actions to protect the environment, including:
